Head of National Assembly Standing Delegation to NATO PA at NATO PA 90th Rose-Roth Seminar in Moldova
Dragan Sormaz, Head of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, will be taking part in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly 90th Rose-Roth Seminar “Moldova’s European Future: the Regional Context and Internal Challenges”, 11-13 November 2015, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
The parliamentarians will discuss the political and economic development of the situation in Moldova, as well as Moldova’s relations with NATO, the European Union and the Russian Federation. In separate sessions the parliamentarians will discuss the situation in Ukraine and its impact on regional and global security, situation in Pridnestrovie, information war in Eastern Europe, as well as the role of civil society, defence reform and anti-corruption efforts in Moldova.
The participants will be addressed by the Moldovan Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Victor Osipov, Minister of Defence Anatol Salaru, and others.
Besides the representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the NATO PA 90th Rose-Roth Seminar will be attended by parliamentarians from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Armenia, Hungary, Moldova, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, representatives of international organisations, and others.
