Gojkovic Sends Telegrams of Condolences to Presidents of Bundestag and Bundesrat

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent telegrams of condolences to the presidents of Bundestag and Bundesrat, Norbert Lammert and Malu Dreyer, on the terrorist attack in Berlin.

“We were deeply shocked by the news of the brutal attack in Berlin, which we condemn most severely, and the deaths of innocent people. Allow me to extend deepest condolences, on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, to You and the German people.

In this difficult moment we share the German people’s pain and extend full solidarity and sincere dedication to protecting peace and the right to live without mindless destruction. I am sure that unity and resolve to protect civilizational values would triumph over violence.

Please accept our sincerest support and convey our condolences to the families of the victims, with the hope that the injured will recover quickly”.
