Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011

At the request of the Government, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011, for Monday, 27 June 2011, starting at 11 a.m.


The request to hold the extraordinary session set the following agenda:

1.The Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (second public finance development programme loan),

2.The Bill on the Confirmation of the Financial Agreement (Apex loan for small and medium enterprises and medium market capitalization enterprises II/A) between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank and the National Bank of Serbia,

3.The Bill on the Confirmation of the Financial Agreement (Apex loan for small and medium enterprises and medium market capitalization enterprises II/B) between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank and the National Bank of Serbia,

4.The Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement Fiat compact cars Serbia/C between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank,

5.The Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement Fiat compact cars Serbia/D between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank.

The National Assembly accepted the proposal to complete a joint unified debate on items 1 through 5 on the agenda in line with Article 157, paragraph 2, of the Rules of Procedure.

At the beginning of the proceedings, Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric elaborated the Bills on the confirmation of international treaties and agreements.

The National Assembly went on to conduct and conclude the joint unified debate on the Bills.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda, National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic set Monday, 27 June 2011, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda for the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011, starting at 6.08 pm.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 27 June, the National Assembly adopted the Bills on the confirmation of international treaties and agreements on the agenda for the session, by a majority of votes.

Since the National Assembly had completed the discussion on the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic concluded the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011.
