Fourteenth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011

At the request of 121 Members of Parliament, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic convened the Fourteenth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011, for Monday, 26 September 2011.


The request to hold the session set the following agenda:

1. Proposal of the Decision on the election of members of the Commission for the Control of Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions, submitted by the Justice and Administration Committee of the National Assembly and

2. Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of Krsman Ilic, Public Prosecutor at the Nis Appellate Public Prosecutor’s Office, submitted by the Justice and Administration Committee of the National Assembly.

At the beginning of the proceedings, National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic informed the MPs that the second item on the agenda has been withdrawn from procedure at the proposal of the Justice and Administration Committee as Krsman Ilic’s office of public prosecutor terminated on 23 September under law.

At the proposal of the Administrative Committee, the National Assembly noted the termination of the term of office of MP Dragan Markovic-Palma, elected from the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) – Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) – United Serbia (US) electoral list, before the expiration of the term he was elected to.

At the proposal of the Administrative Committee, the National Assembly verified the term of office of MP Zoran Vasic, elected from the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) – Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) – United Serbia (US) electoral list.

The National Assembly went on to conduct and conclude a unified debate on the Proposal of the Decision on the election of members of the Commission for the Control of Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic set Monday, 26 September, as Voting Day on the items on the agendas for the Fourteenth, Thirteenth, Twelfth and Eleventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011, starting at 1 p.m.

Voting Day


On Voting Day, 26 September, by a majority of votes, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of members of the Commission for the Control of Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions.

As the National Assembly had completed the discussion on the only item on the agenda for the session and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic concluded the Fourteenth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011
