Fifth Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society
At the sitting held on 20 October, the members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society considered, in detail, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education, submitted by the Government.
The Bill was presented, in detail, by Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic.
The Committee then proceeded to adopt a Conclusion asking the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development to draft an instruction that would enable the students of generation 2006, 2007 and 2008, studying according to the Bologna System, to extend their studies by a year with no fee or change in the curriculum. The general acts of higher education facilities need to be adjusted in line with the abovementioned. The Ministry obliged itself to inform the Committee on the implementation of the Conclusion within three months.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Muamer Zukorlic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic, Ljibuska Lakatos, Marko Parezanovic, Bogdan Obradovic, Natasa St. Jovanovic, Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Fatmir Hasani, Djordje Kosanic, Milena Bicanin, Zarko Korac, Dubravko Bojic, MA Aleksandra Jerkov, Nada Lazic, Ratko Jankov and Dusan Pavlovic.
