European Integration Committee Delegation Takes Part in Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of EU Parliaments - COSAC
As part of the Lithuanian presidency of the European Union, Vilnius will be hosting the 50th Meeting of the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC), from 27 to 29 October 2013.
The National Assembly delegation to take part in the Conference will comprise MPs Natasa Vuckovic, European Integration Committee Chairperson, and Dr Dijana Vukomanovic and Dragan Sormaz, Committee members.
The Conference will be focusing of the Lithuanian presidency of the EU, COSAC’s contribution to interparliamentary cooperation in the EU, 2014 European Parliament elections, parliamentary diplomacy, implementation of the Europe 2020 Strategy, democratic legitimacy in the EU and the role of national parliaments.
