Dr Orlic with Sierra Leone Parliament Speaker: We Appreciate Position on Kosovo-Metohija and Support for Serbia’s Territorial Integrity

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic met today in Kigali, on the margins of the 145th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, with the Speaker of the House of Parliament of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr Abass Chernor Bundu.

The officials agreed that the two countries have enjoyed traditionally good relations for seven decades now, based on true friendship. The National Assembly Speaker stressed that Serbia highly appreciates the decision of Sierra Leone’s leadership to support its territorial integrity and sovereignty and withdraw the recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of so-called “Kosovo”.

They also discussed the further strengthening of cooperation in areas of common interest such as agriculture, education, healthcare, tourism and culture, with a special focus on the importance of interparliamentary cooperation and fostering ties between the two parliaments.
