Defence and Internal Affairs Committee and Security Services Control Committee Delegation in Study Visit to Stockholm

A delegation of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee and Security Services Control Committee is currently in a study visit to Stockholm, Kingdom of Sweden, 18 – 21 September 2017.

The study visit was organized to exchange experiences concerning the creation and implementation of security policy and security sector supervision. In the course of the visit, the delegation is scheduled to meet with representatives of the committees on defence, foreign affairs and European Union affairs at the Swedish Parliament, as well as have meetings at the ministries of defence, home and foreign affairs and the International Peace Research Institute.

The study visit was organized by the OSCE Mission in Serbia, which has been helping the National Assembly and its committees build up the capacities for security sector supervision for many years now. The visit is realized with the financial assistance of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
