The sharpness of your assessments and predictions, not least regarding my own professional future, were always of great value to me. Let me wish you all the best and success for your new role, especially in strengthening Serbia’s democratic institutions and in reaffirming the role of the National Assembly as the central forum of political contest. Please rest assured that Serbia will always be able to count on Austria as a steadfast friend and a firm supporter of your country on its path towards EU membership.”
