Continuation of the Sitting of the Board of Inquiry to Ascertain the Facts on the Manner of Expenditure of Republic of Serbia Budgetary Funds on the Territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija in the period 2000-2012
The first sitting of the Board of Inquiry to Ascertain the Facts on the Manner of Expenditure of Republic of Serbia Budgetary Funds on the Territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija in the period 2000-2012, commenced on 26 April, was continued on 20 and 21 May 2013.
The first sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, pursuant to article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure and item 3 of the Decision on the creation of the Board of Inquiry. The sitting was chaired by the oldest member of the Board of Inquiry, Vera Paunovic of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia Parliamentary Group.
As the Board of Inquiry failed to elect a Chairman and Deputy Chairman in the continuation of the sitting on 20 May, since none of the nominees won the necessary majority of votes, the sitting was continued again on 21 May.
In the continuation of the sitting, Momir Stojanovic was unanimously elected Board of Inquiry Chairman.
