73rd Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 16 November, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending reviewed the amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Republic of Serbia 2015 Budget Law.
Out of the 23 amendments submitted to the Bill, the Government and the Committee accepted one, the amendment submitted to Article 1 by MP Zoran Babic.
The Committee went on to unanimously adopt the Decision noting the termination of office of member of the Council of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia of Dr Miladin Kovacevic, due to the expiry of his term of office, and forwarded it to the National Bank of Serbia for further processing.
Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic informed the Committee members that he would be sending a memo to the heads of the parliamentary groups at the National Assembly to submit the names of candidates for member of the Council of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia by 18 November at the latest, after which the Committee will interview said candidates at a sitting, come to a decision and forward it to the National Assembly for discussion and final ruling.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic.
