66th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 2 October, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending interviewed the candidates for the election of President and member of the Securities Commission.


By 1 October, two parliamentary groups had submitted nominations for President and member of the Securities Commission – Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group nominated Zarko Milicevic for Securities Commission President and Mirjana Ivosevic for Securities Commission member, and the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group nominated Srboljub Antic for Securities Commission President i.e. member.

Having interviewed all the candidates, the Committee decided, by majority vote, to nominate Zarko Milicevic for Securities Commission President and Mirjana Ivosevic for Securities Commission member.

Having established the Proposal of the Decision for the Election of Securities Commission President and Member, the Committee members decided, by majority vote, to forward it to the National Assembly to be included into the agenda for the session in progress by emergency procedure.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic.
