58th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 4 December, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending interviewed the candidates for National Bank of Serbia Governor’s Council member after which they formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of National Bank of Serbia Governor’s Council member.


The candidate for NBS Governor’s Council member, for a five-year period, is MA Ivan Nikolic.
The Committee members went on to speak with the representatives of the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, Republic Health Insurance Fund and the National Employment Service to get some information and exchange opinions on the planned budgetary allocations and challenges they will come against next year.
At the sitting, the Committee members appointed Radojko Obradovic member and Dragan Tomic substitute member, on the behalf of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, at the Regional Network of Parliamentary Committees on Economy, Finance and European Integration of the Western Balkans.
At the sitting held on 4 December 2013, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending adopted the Conclusion demanding from to the Securities Commission to submit an Activity Report for the period January-October 2013, as well as a financial report for the same period within 10 days.
The Committee members also adopted the conclusion that, when reviewing the budget proposal for the next year, the Committee should speak with the representatives of the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, Republic Health Insurance Fund and the National Employment Service and that the Committee Chairperson should inform the Government about it.

The sitting was chaired by Vesna Kovac, Committee Chairperson.
