At the sitting held on 17 July, the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy discussed the Bill on Trade, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Commerce and the Bill on Commodity Exchange in detail.
Of the 59 amendments submitted to the Bill on Trade, the Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept three and reject the remaining 56.
Of the 14 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Commerce, the Government and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept one and reject the remaining 13.
The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 37 amendments submitted to the Bill on Commodity Exchange.
The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, State Secretary Vesna Kovac and advisors Bojana Amanovic and Nevena Praizovic.
The Committee members went on to endorse by majority vote the proposal that MPs Gorica Gajic and Snezana Paunovic take part in the Interparliamentary conference on stability, economic coordination and governance in the EU in Helsinki, 30 September – 1 October 2019.
