40th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 3 April, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending ascertained the principles for the testing of candidates for the election of four members of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.

Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic proposed that two items be included into the agenda by urgent procedure, pursuant to Article 167 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, viz: urgent procedure for deliberation on the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Members of the Council of the State Audit Institution and urgent procedure for deliberation on the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of a Member of the Securities Commission.

The Committee members decided, by majority vote, to forward the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Members of the Council of the State Audit Institution and the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of a Member of the Securities Commission to the National Assembly for deliberation and adoption by urgent procedure.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Sonja Vlahovic, Zoran Bojanic, Veroljub Arsic, Olivera Pesic, Srbislav Filipovic, Goran Kovacevic, Djordje Milicevic, Vojislav Vujic and Snezana B. Petrovic.
