40th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 22 May, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered 9 of the bills included into the agenda for the Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2013.
Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic elaborated the Bill amending and modifying the Property Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Corporate Income Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Mandatory Social Insurance Contributions, Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law and the Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, after which the Committee adopted them in principle.
The Committee members went on to discuss and adopt the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of the Russian Federation granting a State Financial Loan to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Contract for the Water Supply and Wastewater Processing Programme in Medium-Sized Municipalities in Serbia III amounting up to 46,000,000 EUR between KfW, Frankfurt-am-Main, and the Republic of Serbia and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Contract between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income, submitted by the Government.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Vesna Kovac.
