28th Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications

At the sitting held on 14 May, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications reviewed a number of bills on the agenda for the Fifth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2018.

The Bill on Special Conditions for Realization of Project Housing Construction for Members of the Security Forces, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Navigation and Ports on Inland Waterways, Bill on Procedure for Registration into Real Estate and Power Lines Cadastre, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Road Transport of Goods, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Road Transport of Passengers, Bill on Roads, Bill on Railway, Bill on Railway Safety, and the Bill on Interoperability of the Railway System, were presented by representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the Republic Geodetic Authority. State Secretary Aleksandra Damnjanovic, Assistant Minister Zoran Ilic, Assistant Minister Jovanka Atanackovic and Acting Assistant Minister Sasa Stojanovic took part in the presentation.

The Committee went on to review the Bill on the Confirmation of the Protocol amending Article 50(a) of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and Protocol amending Article 56 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, Bill on the Confirmation of the 2004 International Convention for the Control and Management of Ship Ballast Water and Sediments, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Moldova on International Road Transport, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on International Road Transport of Passengers and Goods, Bill on the Confirmation of the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, Bill on the Confirmation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey in the Field of Urban Planning and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Tunisia.

The Committee members accepted all the bills by majority vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Katarina Rakic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ivana Nikolic, Ivana Stojiljkovic, Dalibor Radicevic, Dr Vladimir Orlic, Ognjen Pantovic, Aleksandar Stevanovic, Stefana Miladinovic, Dr Ivan Bauer, Dragan Jovanovic, Dr Dragan Vesovic and Snezana B. Petrovic.
