26th Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society

At the sitting held on 1 October, the members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society deliberated on the Proposal of the Decision on the Discharge of a member of the National Council for Higher Education and the Proposal of the Decision to organise a public hearing.


By majority vote, the Committee decided to submit to the National Assembly for ruling the Proposal of the Decision on the Discharge of National Council for Higher Education member Prof. Dr Dusan Nikolic who had been elected Rector of the University of Novi Sad.

The Committee members also adopted the Proposal of the Decision to organise of a public hearing on National Qualifications Framework – Connecting the Education and Job Market in Serbia. The public hearing will be realised in cooperation with the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction.

The sitting was chaired by MA Aleksandra Jerkov, Committee Chairperson.
