22nd Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 23 October, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending discussed, in principle, three of the bills proposed for the agenda of the Fifth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014, submitted by the Government.
Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic provided the rationale for the bills.
The Committee considered and, after a short debate, accepted the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2014 Budget Law, with its accompanying Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Decision amending and modifying the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund 2014 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Decision modifying the Republic Health Insurance Fund 2014 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Decision modifying the National Employment Service 2014 Financial Plan and the Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Decision modifying the Fund for Social Insurance of Military Insured 2014 Financial Plan.
The Committee members went on to discuss and unanimously accept the Bill on temporary regulation of salary i.e. wages and other steady income calculation and payment bases of public fund users and the Bill on temporary regulation of pension payment, in principle.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic.
