12th Sitting of the Committee on Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy

At the sitting held on 19 April 2021, the members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy considered the set of bills on the agenda for the Eighth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021, in detail.

The Committee unanimously accepted the six amendments submitted to the Bill on Use of Renewable Energy Sources. Pursuant to Article 157, paragraph 6 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee submitted amendments to articles 2 and 108 of the Bill.

The Committee unanimously accepted the seven amendments submitted to the Bill on Energy Efficiency and Rational Energy Use by MPs Veroljub Matic and Dr Boban Birmancevic. Pursuant to Article 157, paragraph 6 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee submitted six amendments viz. to Article 3, to add a title and Article 57a after Article 57, and to articles 72, 124, 139 and 153 of the Bill.

The Committee decided to accept eight of the nine amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Energy Law. Pursuant to Article 157, paragraph 6 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee submitted an amendment to Article 62 of the Bill.

The Committee unanimously accepted the nine amendments, with correction, submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Mining and Geological Research by MPs Veroljub Matic and Dr Boban Birmancevic. Pursuant to Article 157, paragraph 6 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee submitted amendments to articles 2, 6, 37, 62 and 63 of the Bill.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milos Bandjur, Natasa Ljubisic, Zoran Tomic, Ivana Popovic, Ana Beloica, Snezana Paunovic, Dubravka Kralj, Mirela Radenkovic, Jasmina Karanac, Adrijana Pupovac, Tihomir Petkovic, Vesna Stambolic, and Janko Langura.
